Day 23, 24, 25 (+ evening of 22) – Last day in Prague and into Germany

After Tuesday’s skydiving high, we thought we’d explore Prague’s famous night life and we weren’t disappointed. We’ve not got a lot of photos of that (thankfully) but an early highlight was the ice bar at the 5 story Karlovy Lazne nightclub.

On Wednesday, we took the opportunity to explore some of Prague’s landmarks including; Charles bridge, Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock.

It was that morning that we found out the ‘overnight’ train we had booked had a 5 hour stop at another station… We instead decided to get a different quicker bus from Prague to Dresden and stay in a hostel that night, before catching that train as it stopped at the Dresden station at 5 o clock in the morning. That way we would at least be able to get some sleep!

Thursday, we got to Berlin and went to see Brandenburg Gate and the East Side Gallery – including the famous ‘Kiss’ painting. We also stopped by the eye opening Holocaust Museum.

We had a rather nice apartment for that evening which allowed us to get in some much needed rest.

Today, we first headed to see Checkpoint Charlie, as well as visit the outside museum. We also saw the Reichstag Building.

We’re currently on a bus to Hamburg with estimated arrival time in about 4 hours. We’re staying two nights there at a hostel, spending tomorrow at Heide Park. 😊

Looking forward to seeing the Danes and Hemyock Scouts on Sunday afternoon!
